Need help with Magic the gathering?
I just started playing magic again after a while without play (since the onslaught block was released) and i would like to get some help getting started so if someone know a lot about mtg and could share some of their experience and tell about tacs and so on i would really appreciate it.

The most recent block, Shards of Alara, is currently in its second release, the Conflux set. Both are designed around using multi-color decks, or at least that's how Wizards of the Coast describes it. With Shards, they wanted you to try making a 3-color deck. Now with Conflux, they're pushing for you to try all 5 colors at once to play stuff like Fusion Elemental, Child of Alara and Progenitus, and use abilities like Domain (the more basic land types you have, the more powerful the spell).
If you want to get back into the swing of things, I'd suggest a trip to the card shop. Pick up a tournament pack from Shards of Alara and a few boosters from Conflux (a fat pack is always good 
) and see what you get out of it. There are some really cool multi-color combos you can pull off, and you don't even need to go looking very hard to find em.
And yes, there are a lot of artifacts and artifact creatures running around now. Many of them are actually colored, so they're not too bad, but they can be deadly in a multi-color artifact deck.
