Magic The Gathering OLD Planeswalkers (not from lorwyn)?
Ok guys... I've been around the mtg scene for about 11 years... and I remember that a couple of years ago "somehow" I downloaded images from the ursa cycle (and others) planeswalkers-characters (like ursa, karn...) and those image cards have as far I remember almost the same format as the *new* planeswalker from lorwyn... anyone can point me out how to find information about these cards? or the name of the game or published ..
I remember that these scans were larger than actually mtg regular cards. and they did not have the traditional card format of those days.
I think those "planeswalker" cards were actually Vanguard cards. They have a fancy frame and were used to change the way to play Magic. Those cards affected your hand size, your starting life and give you an ability that lasted all the game. They have no relation at all with the Planeswalkers in Lorwyn.

Which is a better Magic: The Gathering set: 10th Edition or Lorwyn?
Which MTG set is a better value, and which is best to play?

Are you a beginner or a big-time player of MTG? If you are just starting then go for the tenth edition. If you have been playing awhile the go for lorwyn. Both are good but in my opinion i would get lorwyn.
